Stay for the day or several at Scandretts Bay

This is a great place to unwind and I recommend staying for a few days to allow for full relaxation. Located about 90 minutes drive from Auckland, this is a great destination for a day trip, but to get the full benefit I would recommend an overnight stay or two.

 Scandretts Bay is located in a Regional Park and several Baches are available for hire.

I can recommend the Moonlight Bach. If you are lucky enough to have a Motorhome then you can free park on the hill overlooking the bay and have both a great location with a fantastic view. Self contained campervans can stay for 1 night in the SCC carparking area.

Itinerary - How to get to Scandrett

Take State Highway 1 North to Warkworth. Follow the signs to Snells Beach. Approximately 3km beyond Algies Bay turn left into Scandrett Road and follow the road to the end.
